Full Stack Developer - AWS And AI Focus Contract/ Contract To Hire Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in AWS and AI/ML integration to build and maintain scalable, modern web applications. In this role, you'll work across the full software development lifecycle designing, developing, deploying, and supporting high-quality solutions while embracing best practices in DevOps, security, and performance optimization. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and AI tools. Key Responsibilities: - Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, and Microservices. - Enhance and maintain on-premises and internal PaaS applications, with a focus on migrating to AWS in alignment with project timelines. - Design and implement serverless architectures and patterns from existing containerized applications. - Build industry-standard RESTful APIs, manage connectivity protocols, routing, and enforce API policies. - Design and develop cloud-native architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Anticipate technical consequences and dependencies by assessing upstream/downstream systems and architecture. - Champion a culture of software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD, test automation, CI/CD, and clean code practices. - Drive performance improvements by monitoring metrics, identifying trends, and recommending solutions or process changes. - Ensure all development adheres to security standards and complies with privacy regulations from the start. - Actively reduce technical debt and enforce long-term maintainability. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. - Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate clearly, and promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback. - Lead and participate in code reviews, driving continuous improvement and technical excellence. - Create and maintain documentation and operational playbooks. - Analyze trade-offs between performance, usability, and cost, and communicate these decisions to stakeholders. - Administer product upgrades, patches, and production support as needed. - Support the team with troubleshooting, maintenance, and mentoring. - Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer working across backend and frontend technologies. - Proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, or Django). - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, and others. - Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or AWS SageMaker. - Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and DevOps best practices. - Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and migrating legacy systems to the cloud. - Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. - Passion for learning emerging technologies and applying them to real-world challenges.
