Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program. The Software Tech Lead will work closely under the Software Lead and help to lead software development activities. Candidate will need to have experience with RF Signal Data Processing as well as various coding languages, CI/CD pipelines, Agile processes and the Atlassian tool suite. This position will be at our site either in Linthicum, Maryland or Fairfax, Virginia. This position requires being on-site and does not support remote or hybrid work. This position is contingent upon the verification and transfer of current/active DoD security clearance and program access as required for business needs. Basic Qualifications Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application [US Citizenship required] Minimum years of experience needed to be considered: 8 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's 6 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's 4 Years of relevant experience with a completed PhD 10 Years of relevant software engineering experience with a completed associate's degree 12 years of relevant work software engineering experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required) Experience with RF Signal Data Processing Experience with C/C++/Python/Java Experience with DevSecOps environments in CI/CD pipelines Experience with Agile programs and methodology Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience with Gitlab Preferred Qualifications STEM degree To better support our employee's work/life balance, most NG worksites support a 9/80 work schedule.
