The Senior Accountant - Development & Fund Operations is responsible for managing accounting functions primarily for development projects while providing comprehensive support across all Partners Capital operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting and facilitates communication between internal teams and external stakeholders across the entire capital platform. The position serves as a key liaison for financial integrity across all fund activities while maintaining focus and accountability to development projects. What Youll Do

Development Project Responsibilities

Manage comprehensive accounting for development projects and pre-acquisition activities, including reconciling balance sheets, work-in-process, accounts payable, and bank accounts. Prepare bank reporting and compliance obligations for development entities. Oversee accounts payable functions for development entities, including issuing checks, setting up wire/ACH payments, maintaining vendor files, and addressing vendor inquiries. Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare and review loan draw packages for assigned projects and ensure timely and accurate submission to lending institutions. Analyze and summarize financial status of development projects, ensuring cost control and accurate budget tracking. Contribute to financial standards setting process and participate in forecasting across projects. Review, document, and recommend updates to accounting systems and procedures for improved efficiency. Prepare property management accounting reports for projects transitioning to stabilized properties and for ongoing investment properties. Assist with setting up new development investments with guidance from project Principals and attorney, including inputting investment data into Yardi Investment Management, calculating waterfall distributions, setting up entity files, adding entities to master insurance schedule and opening bank accounts. Cross-Platform Responsibilities

Support accounting operations for Opportunity, Hospitality, and Land funds, including transaction processing, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting when needed. Prepare and review loan draw packages for fund investments and ensure timely and accurate submission to lending institutions. Support month-end and year-end close processes across the capital platform. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules, working with Asset Management, Project Management, and Investment teams to ensure alignment and accuracy across all funds. Perform other related duties as assigned across the capital platform. What Youll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required Minimum 5 years of accounting experience required Development or investment fund accounting experience preferred Experience with job costing, loan draw preparation, and project accounting a plus Exposure to multi-phase development projects and complex financial data management a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and the broader Yardi product suite Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail Ability to manage multiple fund accounting responsibilities and competing priorities Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal Team player with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders and investment structures Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure Why Partners
