Compliance Manager , you are a dedicated team leader and meticulous professional with a strong background in banking laws and regulations and compliance issues management. You have a natural ability to assess and resolve issues with a focus on fairness, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards. You thrive on managing the complexities of regulatory and issue management requirements, ensuring that each concern is addressed in a timely, thorough, and compliant manner. With your keen attention to details and excellent communication skills, you're able to navigate sensitive situations and transform challenges into opportunities for improvement. You are driven by passion for upholding the company's reputation while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the bank's issue management program and broader Compliance Management System. What you'll do:
As a Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organization's Compliance Management System, leading a team of advisors that provide strategic regulatory guidance to partners across the Bank, overseeing advisory execution of our compliance issue management program, and ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities include: Lead and manage a team of compliance advisors responsible for providing strategic regulatory insights, guidance, and credible challenge to partners within the bank's lines of business Oversee advisor execution of the compliance issue management process, ensuring timely identification, root cause analysis, action planning, and effective corrective action in partnership with lines of business and in compliance with applicable regulations Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks across the organization Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulatory requirements Oversee compliance monitoring and internal audits to identify issues and ensure adherence to policies and applicable regulations Provide regular reports to senior management on compliance activities, risks, and issue resolutions Exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Audit, Business, in a related field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of relevant experience in compliance Demonstrated experience leading the entire issue management life cycle for a Compliance Management System (CMS) Demonstrated experience identifying regulatory changes, their resulting impact to compliance controls, and implementing appropriate controls that effectively mitigate risk Expert knowledge of current and emerging compliance risks, and regulatory, policy and procedure changes Demonstrated ability to lead a team Additional Preferred Skills:
CRCM, CERP or equivalent professional certification Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams Our Benefits:
