Mortgage Post Closer
The Mortgage Post Closer plays a vital role in the final stages of the mortgage loan process. This position is responsible for reviewing and verifying all closing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage lending practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Review closed loan files for accuracy and completeness Ensure all documents meet investor and regulatory requirements Identify and resolve post-closing issues in a timely manner Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and internal departments Upload and deliver final loan packages to investors or custodians Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 15 years of post-closing experience in the mortgage industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, including FHA and refinance processes Technical Skills: Proficiency in mortgage software systems and Microsoft Office Suite Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED required Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
