We are seeking a
Customs Entry Writer
to join our client's growing team. This role is critical for ensuring smooth and compliant customs clearance for imported goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs operations or brokerage and a strong understanding of compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance. Ensure proper tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin documentation. Communicate with internal teams, customers, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve issues. Monitor customs clearance progress and troubleshoot delays. Maintain current knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and compliance requirements. Perform audits and assist with compliance programs and policies. Qualifications
12 years of experience in customs operations, brokerage, or logistics. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (shows commitment and accomplishment). Knowledge of customs terminology and compliance processes. Experience with Cargowise is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation (approx. 7 entries per day). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Perks
