Job Opportunity: Programmer Analyst (Web)
Job Description Day-to-Day: The Programmer Analyst (Web) will provide programming support for all web applications used in College systems, including problem resolution, software modification, new software development, and technical assistance to users. This role involves working closely with users to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and manage the web applications project list. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and coding solutions, testing, documenting, and applying internal procedures to ensure quality. The candidate will also log and resolve software work orders and may work additional hours as needed. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements Must Have: Associate's degree with 3+ years of recent web application programming experience OR 4+ years of relevant experience. 3+ years of experience in application software programming in a web environment. Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ. Experience with C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, Familiarity with database development (Access and SQL Server preferred). Ability to access external data sources (Databases, Web Services, APIs). Skilled in verbal and written communication; ability to work in a multi-culturally diverse environment. Familiar with Ellucian Colleague systems, including integration and customization of modules, (Ethos). Plusses: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field. Experience in higher education applications. Knowledge of React, GraphQL, MVC/MVVM design patterns. Experience with RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.). Experience with Azure, Azure SQL, Azure AD, MOSS. Knowledge of SharePoint workflows, Office 365, MS Power Automate. Experience with Ellucian Experience, Colleague Self-Service, and Colleague Web API. Mobile app development experience.
