Atrium Health Levine Children's
is seeking a
full-time MD/DO to join their well-established and nationally recognized team.
The Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism Division is a group of 5 physicians, 1 APP, 8 Genetic Counselors, 2 Metabolic Dietitians, and a Metabolic Nurse. Multidisciplinary care is provided for all genetic and metabolic conditions in pediatric and adult patients (except adult cancer). These include congenital anomalies, genetic syndromes, inherited genetic and metabolic disorders, lysosomal storage diseases, mitochondrial disorders, neuromuscular conditions, cardiac genetic syndromes, connective tissue disorders, and inherited cancer syndromes affecting children. Responsibilities include: Outpatient genetic clinics, shared call, and inpatient consultation service. Participation in division-specific quality improvement plan. Clinical programmatic development. Participation in hospital, Department of Pediatrics, and system committees. Faculty development (leadership, clinical, academic). Education medical students, pediatric residents, and faculty. Training and/or Experience Required
BE/BC in Clinical Genetics and Genomics. Board certification and/or interest in Biochemical Genetics is preferred. Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research development. Demonstrated commitment to collegiality and the highest standards of professionalism. Benefits
