What You'll Do: The Lockbox Remittance Specialist handles the servicing of all commercial lockbox services, including any operational functions that may pertain to the service. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customers lockbox deposits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Main Function: Operating OPEX Falcon Machine for most of the day (machine that allows you to sit down and scan documents)

Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.

Sort, open and process batches of work as required for this function.

Process any corrections.

Receive and answer customers inquires in a timely manner regarding customers lockbox and research any questions that may arise from the lockbox function.

Bill each customer monthly appropriately according to the services provided.

Maintain confidentiality of customer account information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and request.

Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.

OPEX Machine Details:

this candidate will operate either the OPEX Eagle or OPEX Falcon Machine throughout the day

OPEX Eagle - mail opening machine that requires someone to be standing for 4+ hours at a time

OPEX Eagle - standing in front of machine, take sealed mail and load onto the conveyor belt, utilize the touchscreen to assign a specific job, machine feeds closed envelopes through, opens the envelopes and separates into different piles based on the mail inside the envelope

OPEX Falcon - mail opening machine that allows someone to be sitting down to manually open the mail

OPEX Falcon - sitting in front of machine, allows for more manual mail opening and manual mail sorting when utilized

What You'll Bring:

REQUIRING LOCKBOX, REMITTANCE, OR DEPOSIT OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Regulations, policies, and procedures

Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meetings deadlines

Ability to:

Education and Training:

Requires High School diploma or equivalent.

1 year previous retail banking or lockbox experience preferred.

Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
