Description
On-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.
The Director of Finance & Accounting will serve as a key financial leader at Kings River Packing, working closely with ownership and senior leadership to strengthen our financial foundation and support company growth. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the accounting team, enhancing financial systems, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers significant visibility across the organization and a growth path into a future VP-level role.
Work You'll Do:
Oversight and management of the financial reporting process.
Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis. Annual budget preparation with monthly review and analysis. Annual independent CPA review.
Assist in annual year-end tax planning, work closely with outside CPA firm to assist with tax return preparation. Ownership of day-to-day banking responsibilities.
Check signing. ACH/Wire approvals. User maintenance.
Develop, mentor, and lead a 14-person accounting team (Controller, Sr. Accountant, Staff Accountant, Grower Accounting, AP, AR, Admin). Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll and compliance. Build and expand financial analysis capabilities that drive better decision-making. Work closely with leaders in each department to support the company's overall success. Work directlywith the CFO on special projects. Perform other work-related duties and projects as directed. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA required). Proven experience leading accounting teams and delivering strategic financial insights. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across the organization.
