What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Architect, design, and build internal platforms and tooling that support SEO automation and content workflows - Collaborate with product managers, SEO strategists, and analysts to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions - Build APIs, dashboards, and pipelines for automating metadata, link analysis, and site change detection - Contribute to the development of GEICO.com and related properties by building new components and features - Lead technical decisions and mentor engineers within the team
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience in building full-stack web applications or platforms - At least 4 years of experience with architecture and design - Proficiency with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service for a minimum of 4 years - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Proven experience in designing and implementing internal platforms, dashboards, or developer tooling
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with structured data, SEO best practices, and web crawlers - Familiarity with CMS integrations and API-driven publishing - Strong understanding of website performance and Core Web Vitals - Product mindset with a passion for building tools that solve real problems - Knowledge of AI/ML and data-driven integration with backend systems
