Scheduling Unit Supervisor
The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) is recruiting for one (1) Scheduling Unit Supervisor who will: Supervise and schedule work assignments to all clerical support staff; ensure that coverage is available. Track and maintain case records assigned to the unit. Access database systems, the Child Support Management System (CSMS), the Welfare Management System (WMS) and the Department of Motor Vehicles System (DMV), for the purpose of retrieving case information for preparation of client interviews; ensure that information is accurate, complete and ready for scheduled interviews. Compile weekly statistical reports by summarizing data tallies and other accumulated data; prepare and update rosters to keep control on all cases assigned and completed. Provide staff training and development on policy, practices and new procedures governing the unit; monitor time and leave and rate the performance of subordinates. Respond to telephone calls regarding scheduled appointments; refer caller to other departments when indicated. Qualification Requirements: A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
