Staff Accountant

Our client in Denver, CO has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant. The position details are as follows. Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger by reconciling accounts and adjust entries as necessary to comply with GAAP & tax standards Perform monthly close procedures and processes Reconcile multiple bank accounts Maintain fixed asset records Create journal entries to record semimonthly payroll Reconcile intercompany accounts Assist in processing accounts payable Assist in completing credit card reconciliations Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures Requirements: 2+ years accounting Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus Proficient in Advanced Excel Solid understanding of GAAP and tax principles If you are interested in this opportunity, please send a copy of your resume to
