First Shift Window Clerk- Carson, CA

We are hiring for a Window Clerk. In this position, you will be responsible for customer service on the phone, through email and at the service window. This full-time hourly position will report to the Warehouse Manager and be primarily responsible for establishing assisting in the needs of the warehouse staff, customers and truck drivers. Hours are Monday- Friday 6:00 AM-1:30 PM. Pay is $20/hour.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Answer phones, voicemails and emails in a professional prompt manner Have working knowledge of the company and customer computer systems Accurately and timely enter data as required Able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at the same time Resolve discrepancies/provide update statuses with order documents and carrier assignments Willing to double check orders on warehouse docks File Paperwork in a timely manner Other duties may be assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent respectful communication skills with customers and employees Strong Attention to Detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel Self-motivated and works well with limited direction PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) systems Experience working in a warehouse environment PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time sitting at a desk on the computer and speaking with internal and external customers on the phone. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities Ability to repetitively twist or turn; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow dress code guided by the company BENEFITS AND TOTAL REWARDS:
