Business Development Manager
to cultivate meaningful partnerships that multiply the impact of Good Place Organizations.
Your Role:
As the
Business Sales Development , your primary job is to identify and connect with potential clients; leaders of values-driven businesses or organizations who could benefit from GPI's services. You'll focus on the early stages of the client journey: researching markets, reaching out to prospects, and building relationships that lead to new partnerships. Your work will help expand GPI's reach and impact by generating interest, qualifying leads, and preparing them for collaboration with our consulting team.
What You'll Do: Research & Prospecting
- Identify target markets, understand ideal client personas, and pinpoint opportunities where GPI's message will resonate. Lead Generation
- Initiate meaningful outreach through email, phone, networking, events, and digital channels to generate qualified leads. Opportunity Development
- Guide prospects through early engagement, aligning values and needs, and preparing them for partnership with GPI consultants. Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to shape messaging, develop proposals, and transition clients smoothly into the delivery phase. Market Representation
- Represent GPI at industry events and share insights with marketing to continually refine our voice and reach. Close the Sale - Convert prospects into clients. What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in B2B business development, solution sales, or professional services engagement. Proven success in pipeline development and lead conversion. Experience with CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce. Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage executives and organizational leaders. Familiarity with consultative or values-based sales and a desire to work in a mission-driven context. Knowledge of or curiosity about biblically derived principles of leadership and organizational health. You'll Thrive If You Are:
