Die Cast Operator
Cardinal Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Die Cast Operator for a leading provider of high-quality magnesium recycling and die casting services. This is a direct hire position in Bellevue, OH. Position to start in October. Shift: 1st Shift | Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package + royalty bonuses Key Responsibilities: Operate die casting machines including start-up and shut-down procedures Trim and finish cast parts using wire wheels, files, and hand tools Perform visual inspections and use gauges to verify part quality Load materials into melt furnaces and monitor/control furnace temperature Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling Maintain and troubleshoot die cast machines and auxiliary equipment Accurately complete production reports, record downtime, and reject data Follow all safety protocols including LOTO and equipment checks Identify abnormal process conditions and take corrective action Input scrap data and print tags using AGSS system Maintain clean and organized work area Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Welding certificate or technical degree preferred Forklift operation experience required Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Skilled in the use of hand tools, such as angle grinders Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable attendance and commitment to safety Apply Today!
