Staff (Full-Time) --> Admissions/Financial Aid DeLand, FL ID: 1494-280 Full-Time/Regular The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions must be a persuasive, creative problem solver who thrives in an upbeat environment with non-standard and varied working hours. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, with excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include managing outreach to prospective students via phone, email, notes, appointments, and group presentations, as well as planning recruitment activities and occasional travel. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage prospective students through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to persuade and guide them through the application process. Lead information sessions and meet with prospective students and parents to provide information and support application procedures. Conduct campus tours for prospective students. Market graduate programs to corporate and other potential student populations by engaging with companies, attending job and education fairs, and maintaining relationships with alumni and advisory boards. Collaborate with graduate program directors and faculty to ensure marketing messages align with program capabilities, update enrollment strategies, and prepare reports for leadership. Plan and execute recruitment travel based on past productivity, coordinate travel with team members, and meet with prospective students at colleges and fairs. Review application materials, determine admission and scholarship awards, and communicate decisions to applicants. Perform other duties related to recruitment, retention, and program administration as needed. Required Skills
