What are we looking for?
The Environmental Senior Project Manager (Asbestos) will support the Building and Construction business by overseeing the Environmental projects in the St. Louis region. This position could travel 20% of the time depending on project load/location.
Shift/Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)
What youll do:
Conduct industrial hygiene services, including asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Conduct or assist with Phase II ESAs, including soil and groundwater sampling Prepare technical proposals and reports Communicate effectively with clients and regulators to maintain project momentum and timelines Self-manage workload and make informed decisions throughout all project phases Manage project budgets and foster strong client relationships Lead scheduling/training of environmental technicians to ensure procedural consistency, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or science related field AND 5+ years of asbestos inspection, management or abatement experience OR
We will also consider 10+ years of asbestos inspection, management or abatement experience in lieu of the bachelors degree Missouri Asbestos Inspector License Required Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to ones discipline Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
