Developing test plans, strategies, and test cases for API's Reviewing and approving test designs and approaches Conducting test execution and expertise in Jira defect management Identifying and addressing testing issues and risks Investigating and resolving testing issues and challenges with less guidance Reporting test results and providing test metrics to stakeholders Implementing and maintaining API test automation scripts Analyze logs using Splunk during test process to Identify patterns and errors to make troubleshooting easier Monitor Services in Production using Splunk Develop tools using Python or Shell Scripting to support Test Execution and Analysis if required Developing test plans, strategies, test scenarios and test cases Conducting test execution and Expertise in Jira defect management Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Manual API Testing Knowledge with the Microservices Architecture Knowledge with API Testing tools (Postman and CURL) Basic knowledge with Kubernetes, AWS, GIT Lab and Splunk Keeping up to date with industry's best practices and technologies in testing Experience in API Performance testing would be a value add Willing to Learn Attitude and being Flexible Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting would be a value add to develop testing tools Knowledge about sequence diagrams Willingness to learn and flexible attitude Strong problem-solving skills Detail oriented and thorough in testing process Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities Takes ownership and accountability for assigned tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality Experience with documentation to effectively convey the results or analysis Value Add
Experience in Test Automation Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting would be a value add to develop testing tools Experience in test data management and maintaining test environments effectively Strong understanding of RESTful API Design principles and best practices, enabling better test case design Ability to implement and maintain Test Automation frameworks for scalable and maintainable testing Compensation and Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
