We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Credit Risk Manager to join our Credit Department in New York. This is a high-impact role that blends credit analysis, committee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration-all within a culture that values work/life balance and professional growth.
What You'll Do
- Prepare Credit Memorandums for new transactions, annual reviews, waivers, and amendments
- Serve as Secretary of the NY Credit Committee -manage agendas, minutes, and decision tracking
- Evaluate deal structures, borrower repayment ability, ESG status, and risk ratings (PD/LGD)
- Liaise with Legal, Corporate Banking, and Head Office teams to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions
- Monitor macroeconomic and regulatory trends impacting credit risk
- Supervise co-advisors and support the Senior Credit Officer in daily operations
Requirements
What You Bring
- Strong credit and financial analysis skills
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in corporate banking, credit policy, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of cross-functional engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and clarity
