The position involves hands-on development and qualification of thin-film deposition processes, high-vacuum systems, PVD/CVD, complex metrology, and safety systems.Duties & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:Process Development & OptimizationDesign, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing systems and tools using expertise in processes, equipment, and quality standardsProcess Engineering OwnershipOwn and lead assigned manufacturing value streams, ensuring effective manufacturing execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvementProject ManagementEffectively manage multiple projects with shifting prioritiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams to support daily operationsProduction SupportProvide real-time support to the manufacturing floor, including occasional off-shift remote assistanceContinuous ImprovementDrive improvements in cost, quality, productivity, and safety using Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesNew Product & Process Introduction (NPPI)Develop and refine processes for new and existing products and processesSupplier Quality EngineeringPartner with quality, procurement, and vendors to develop and enhance raw materials supply-chainFailure AnalysisConduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using statistical tools.
