#LI-Skilled-01Now Hiring: Manual Machinist (Direct Hire - Mars, PA)We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist for a direct hire opportunity at our customer's facility located in Mars, PA.Position Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, direct hireKey Responsibilities: Operate manual machine tools, including mills, lathes, and other equipment, to fabricate precision parts from raw stock. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings to achieve accurate tolerances (up to 0.001"). Perform cutting, measuring, and finishing operations with a high level of precision. Select appropriate cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling based on material properties and part specifications. Securely fixture and clamp workpieces for safe and accurate machining. Analyze and plan machining sequences from initial drawing to finished part. Apply knowledge of different metals and how they react to machining, heating, and cooling processes.Qualifications: Proven experience in manual machining is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision measurement tools. Solid knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and shop safety practices.
