Unreal Engine Developer

Oktobor Animation . We are seeking a highly skilled Unreal Engine Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Unreal Engine (UE4 and/or UE5) and a passion for creating high-quality, fast, and visually stunning interactive experiences. As a key team member, you will collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to develop products for gaming, simulation, and VR/AR platforms. Main Duties:
Use Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) to develop, improve, and optimize interactive applications and games. Implement AI, physics, UI/UX, networking, and gameplay systems. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and ship new features. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in C++ and Blueprints. Profile and optimize performance across various platforms including PC, consoles, VR, and AR. Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and SDKs as needed. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently. Stay updated with new Unreal Engine features and contribute to process improvements. Necessary Qualifications:
Over three years of professional experience with Unreal Engine (UE4 or UE5). Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Blueprints. Strong understanding of real-time rendering, 3D math, and optimization techniques. Experience with online subsystem integration and multiplayer networking. History of completing shipped projects such as games, simulations, or interactive apps. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment. Desired Qualifications:
Experience with VR and AR development. Knowledge of animation systems and physics. Familiarity with version control tools like Perforce and Git. Experience with Agile methodologies and remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Jira, and Trello. Bachelors degree in computer science, game development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
