Senior Manufacturing Engineer Roll Forming and Fabrication

Overview
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer-Roll Forming and Fabrication to join the International team at Tulsa Bus Plant. In this role, the selected candidate will spend extensive time on the manufacturing floor and will perform responsibilities with minimal guidance and input. Its an exciting time to be at International, as we work to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility throughout North America and, with our TRATON GROUP colleagues, worldwide. We are undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks and buses to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Responsibilities
Support roll forming and bus body build operations. Ensure appropriate tooling, roll configurations, and machine parameters. Ensure correct roll alignment and spacing for precision forming. Troubleshoot production issues such as material distortion, tooling wear, and profile inconsistencies. Optimize line speed, quality, and material yield. Analyze cycle times, scrap rates, and equipment downtime to recommend process improvements. Reduce material waste and improve product consistency. Program PLC-controlled hole punch systems integrated into the roll forming line. Interpret product drawings and convert specifications into accurate punch timing and position settings. Ensure proper punch sequencing, tooling alignment, and sensor feedback for accurate hole placement. Troubleshoot punch misfires, timing issues, or tool wear, and adjust program parameters accordingly. Maintain and document punch programs, revision levels, and machine interface settings for repeatable setups. Support production by implementing projects and assignments that measurably improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and employee experience. Forecast hours needed to complete a project and work with department leadership and production leadership to properly prioritize. Schedule work hours to assignments and projects and track progress to that schedule. Create a plan for execution of projects, track progress to that plan, clearly communicate status, and stay on track. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree At least 2 years of product manufacturing experience Masters degree At least 4 years of product manufacturing experience Additional Requirements

2 years experience in developing and maintaining roll forming processes. Engineering degree preferred. Experience & comfort presenting complex topics to leadership.
