Position Summary Serve as Assistant Vice President / VP overseeing the Investment Operations teams supporting Global Atlantic’s $70B real estate portfolio, including commercial mortgages, residential mortgages, and real estate equity. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision and manage multiple direct reports across various workstreams. Responsibilities Oversee analysts responsible for asset setup for new securities and structured transactions, coordinating with Portfolio Management to understand new structures and build infrastructure in Investment Management Platforms (LMS, Geneva, etc.). Set up of SPVs to hold assets and facilitate securitization of cashflows, including settlement of loans/assets and coordination with Legal and custody banks. Oversee funding and settlement of deal flow. Manage ongoing asset lifecycle activities such as principal and interest remittances, pay-downs, pay-offs, and coupon updates. Review cash and asset movements across custody and trust banks related to investment activities. Manage relationships with third-party servicers, asset managers, and banks. Coordinate activities with Investment Accounting, Controls, Risk, Asset Allocation, and Origination teams. Identify process improvements and develop implementation plans. Supervise, train, and mentor direct reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years (AVP) or 10+ years (VP) of relevant experience at an asset manager, insurance company, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Experience with Geneva and/or Clearwater is advantageous. Proven track record in managing investment operations teams and complex projects. Understanding of Fixed Income assets and derivatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, VBA, and Visio is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to work independently on complex problems. Additional Information This role requires work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship. The salary range is $108,000–$207,000 USD, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, incentives, and benefits. The position is full-time, based in various offices including New York, with a typical in-office presence of 4-5 days per week.
