Title: 3-11 Nursing Shift Supervisor State Role Title: RN II/Nurse Prct I/Phy Asst Hiring Range: $42.00-$45.00 Agency: Dept of Veterans Services Location: J&C VCC Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Nursing Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of quality resident care during assigned shifts. This role provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and nurses, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facility policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for staff during shift, facilitates effective communication between team members, addresses resident and family concerns and ensures a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for all residents and staff. Shift Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm M-F and every other weekend. Minimum Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise CNA and Nurses. Excellent clinical judgement and decision making abilities. In-depth knowledge of nursing home regulations, resident rights, and quality care standard. Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
