Position Title:
Senior Operations Domain Systems Engineer
Position Summary
is seeking a Senior Operations Domain Systems Engineer to provide expert-level technical and operational support across SOCOM and Joint Staff missions. This role supports global, theater-level operations through system integration, training, software implementation, and synchronized situational awareness.
Ideal candidates will have deep familiarity with operational environments, Joint and SOF processes, and Command and Control (C2) systems such as: Common Operational Picture (COP) Tactical Data Links (TDL) Operational Area of Interest (OAI) systems Key Responsibilities
Deliver technical and operational support for SOCOM and Joint planning and targeting cycles Implement, train, and support Programs of Record, including:
COP & OAI Management Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) Mission Planning & Navigation Systems Special Operations mission planning tools
Prepare and validate mission and flight plans for SOF operations Identify and report unit-specific capability gaps to SOCOM HQ Coordinate with GCCs, Joint Task Forces, and Service Components to align C2 tools Participate in AoR-level working groups focused on:
COP, TDL, Mission Command, Joint Fires Sustainment, Protection, Operational Integration
Develop and deliver training, system updates, and technical documentation Provide SME support to deployed and CONUS-based units Required Qualifications
4+ years of technical support in operational or IC environments 4+ years of operational experience with SOF mission planning or navigation systems Proven knowledge of C2 systems and operational task structures Experience supporting geographically dispersed units Strong communication skills for training and coordination Experience implementing and documenting SOCOM/Joint software systems Leadership or coordination experience across Combatant Commands Participation in AoR-level working groups and technical forums Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCI Preferred Skills & Tools
Familiarity with TDL integration, GCCS, and mission planning systems Understanding of SOCOM mission types and command relationships Experience with live or training environment software implementations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel globally in support of operational units Education
Bachelor's degree preferred

$95,000-$115,000
