We dont settle until we give our best and know that were making a difference. Jacobs is seeking a Licensed Wastewater Operations Manager to join our collaborative team in Wilmington, DE. Youll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of operations including permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Working with other members of our team and the client youll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. Youll also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies. Responsibilities Lead the overall management and leadership of operations including permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. Implement safety policy and procedures and maintain the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Valid Delaware Class IV Wastewater Operators License, or experience and education to obtain within 3 months via reciprocity 7 plus years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater facility of 30 MGD capacity or larger 5 plus years of experience at a supervisory level Proficient performing mathematical and algebraic calculations associated with wastewater treatment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, data management systems and able to operate plant VFDs, PLCs and SCADA systems Valid drivers license with no major infractions

Preferred qualifications

Associates or College degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Business Administration Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule Expertise in the technical aspects of the facility Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills Experience working with a unionized workforce

The base salary range for this position is $96,100.00 to $132,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
