What You'll Do Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an Environmental Project Manager I to join our team. This role performs multiple tasks on a project as assigned by their supervisor. Depending on the project and abilities, they will take an increasing role and responsibility for the project. Work will be a mix of field and office. The ideal candidate presents a positive customer service attitude and understanding of ECS Core Values. Key Responsibilities Mentor junior staff and support team development Attend project meetings and resolve technical and administrative issues Interface with clients regularly and maintain a client database Manage project budgets, prepare change orders, invoices, and assist with collections Schedule, train, and oversee subordinate staff Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and consult with supervisor weekly Manage environmental projects, applying technical support, often simultaneously Prepare proposals, change orders, and environmental reports Review deliverables by subordinate staff Host or attend project discussions, follow up on reports Complete internal Phase I ESA training and perform Phase I ESAs under supervision Set up projects, perform site reconnaissance, and communicate progress Maintain technical writing quality and industry terminology understanding Direct project setup and implementation with junior staff Understand sample collection, preservation, and laboratory regulations Review daily reports, visit active sites, mentor staff, and communicate milestones Coordinate site activities, manage underground storage tank assessments, and support remediation efforts Assist in developing site work plans and communicate onsite conditions Support staff development and perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For Qualifications Bachelor or Master of Science in relevant engineering or science field Minimum 2 years related experience PE or PG license preferred

Skills and Abilities Knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and test methods Ability to develop client relationships and manage multiple projects Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and walk on uneven ground
