Logistics IT Analyst
The mission of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Installations and Logistics (OPNAV N4) is to provide resilient logistics and shore installation operational solutions to enable, accelerate, and sustain Naval warfighting capabilities worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Logistics IT Analyst to support the integration and modernization of logistics IT systems, ensuring efficient and effective operations that enhance fleet and shore sustainment. The Logistics IT Analyst will provide programmatic, technical and analytical support for logistics IT systems, contributing to business and digital transformation efforts. The role involves data analysis, system integration, and support for logistics operations, focusing on IT modernization and sustainment strategies. Requirements and Experience: Clearance Requirements:
Must have a SECRET clearance Location:
Local to DC area. Required on site 4-5 days a week at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA Analyze logistics IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support LOG IT transformation and integration efforts. Assist with the implementation of new technologies and improvement training programs for logistics IT systems. Support analysis, research, and data calls related to logistics IT modernization and sustainment strategies. Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, integration plans, and training materials. Provide technical support for Navy logistics IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation. Contribute to business case analysis (BCA) and financial/budget analysis related to logistics IT projects. Provide administrative and technical support for executive forums, modernization boards, and cross-program analysis. YoE: 8 years of combined professional work experience in a project management role, or military service and holds a bachelor's degree Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Logistics, or related field General Experience:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with logistics operations, IT systems integration, IT Functional Area Manager experience and data analytics Specific Experience:
Familiarity with Navy logistics operations, IT training, IT Portfolio Management, IT Functional Area Manager experience, policy management, and supply chain management
