The Inventory Management Specialist “IMS” plays a critical role within the inventory management solution. The primary responsibility is a successful solution implementation that meets expectations and drives a positive customer experience. In addition to the actual installations, the IMS has an active part in the customer solution discovery process which can include what is known as a crib crawl. Success is defined by satisfied solution customers, significant revenue growth and ultimately customer retention. Possess a thorough understanding of the process for installing Wurth’s various inventory management solutions: vending, VMI, crib, etc. Capable of leading others to successfully complete larger installations requiring multiple people. Able to communicate IT requirements to customer personnel and complete connectivity requirements. Perform pre-installation tasks ensuring customer readiness to minimize implementation delays. Adhere to all communication protocols ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress: crib crawls, installs, etc. Day one onsite, meet with customer champion / primary contact to review scope of work and review potential safety hazards / protocols. Adhere to all customer site requirements: PPE, speed limits, parking, trash removal, etc. Complete solution installations according to specifications and in a timely manner. If installation cannot be completed within the time allotted, then communicate with manager as to why and recommend a plan going forward. Work with manager on a proper response to the customer. Provide adequate customer training at completion of the solution installation. Possess ability to perform maintenance when called upon for break fix opportunities. Provide on-the-job training for new associates when applicable. Drive the Wurth Company Culture throughout the organization to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of Wurth’s MSM mission. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

$55,000-$75,000

Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
Basic mechanical skills are required. Basic understanding of network connectivity is preferred. Able to work in industrial environments is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Interpersonal/social skills required. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and interact with others. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. The ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Pay Starting At: $55,000
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
