Clinical Nurse Manager -- Ambulatory Surgery Center

Location: Biloxi/MS Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee daily clinical operations and lead our team of dedicated nurses and support staff. This role is central to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory readiness. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the ASC, including pre-op, intra-op, and PACU. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing and clinical support staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies (CMS, AAAHC, OSHA, HIPAA, state licensing). Manage accreditation status, policies, and procedures to maintain survey readiness at all times. Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement programs. Coordinate staff scheduling to meet surgical volume and ensure adequate coverage. Monitor supply inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain cost-effective operations. Participate in budget preparation, financial monitoring, and vendor negotiations. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to optimize workflows and patient experience. Conduct performance evaluations, staff development, and competency assessments. Lead monthly environment of care rounds and ensure all logs (e.g., temperature, crash cart, sterilization) are complete and accurate. Serve as a role model for professional practice, accountability, and service excellence. Qualifications: Current RN license (state of MS) required; BSN preferred. Minimum 3--5 years of perioperative or ASC nursing experience required. Prior leadership or nurse manager experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of ASC operations, regulatory standards, and accreditation processes. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
