SSC Signs & Lighting is a nationwide growing organization in the manufacturing and service known for innovation, customer service, and delivering complex signage projects. We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Accounting to join leadership team and oversee all aspects of financial management, accounting, and compliance. This role is critical in driving financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures. Data & Analytics- Build Power BI/Excel models to surface KPIs (labor efficiency, install variance, backlog burn, etc.) and present insights at leadership meetings. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital structure. Lead audit preparation and tax compliance efforts. Partner with executive leadership to guide business decisions with data-driven insights. Mentor and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance. Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
