Our client is a leading global lifestyle and consumer products company. They are expanding and currently looking to add a VP - Vendor Compliance to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $125k - $130k DOE Position Overview: Our client is looking for a VP - Vendor Compliance to lead vendor compliance operations for a global product-based business headquartered in Miami, FL. The VP - Vendor Compliance will ensure alignment with customer requirements, manage chargebacks, and oversee compliance across distribution centers. The VP - Vendor Compliance will bring deep expertise in vendor compliance, particularly within retail, fashion, or product-based companies that sell to major retailers. This is a hands-on leadership role with six direct reports and a direct line to the COO. Responsibilities for the VP - Vendor Compliance: Lead compliance operations for specialty accounts and department stores (e.g., Nordstrom Rack, Macy's, Kohl's, and premium outlets). Review and dispute customer chargebacks with supporting documentation. Stay current with customer compliance requirements and ensure distribution centers are aligned. Audit weekly reports and implement corrective actions. Prepare monthly chargeback summaries for executive leadership. Negotiate settlements and resolve SLA violations or deduction disputes. Travel to distribution centers monthly to ensure compliance standards are met. Required Experience/Skills for the VP - Vendor Compliance: 7 - 10+ years of experience in compliance within apparel, merchandise, or product-based companies. Strong background managing retailer and vendor compliance, chargebacks, non-compliance penalties and fines, and SLA violations. Proven track record in large company environments (over $200M+ in annual sales). Strong familiarity with department store compliance. Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite or Traverse. Must pass a leadership and retail math assessment test Preferred Experience/Skills for the VP - Vendor Compliance: Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred.
