Job Description Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day, Evening Hours per Shift: 3 shifts Experience: Minimum 2 years License: West Virginia License Required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ARRT Certification in CT preferred
Must-Have: - BLS Certification - ARRT Certification - Ability to start IVs - Black scrubs required
Description: The position involves working as a CT Technologist within a radiology department. The candidate will be responsible for performing all types of CT examinations. Imaging is conducted for both adults and pediatrics. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. In-house radiologists will be available from 7 am to 7 pm; after-hours on-call support is provided. The technologist will need to work every other weekend. There will be no weekend or holiday shifts for travelers. The charting system in use is Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient. The candidate should be comfortable working with Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps equipment. The technologist will work as part of a team consisting of other CT technologists. Shifts may vary in start time throughout the day. There is an emphasis on a collaborative environment within the imaging department. All submission candidates must provide an unexpired copy of their driver's license.
