Job DescriptionCrown Staffing is Hiring - Cutting Machine OperatorLocation: Fairfield, OHShift: Rotating 12-hour shiftsPosition Summary:The Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used to cut, bend, or straighten materials. The operator performs quality checks, records data, and ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. They will also inspect finished workpieces for defects and sort any defective pieces accordingly.Key Responsibilities:-Set up and operate cutting machines according to specifications-Perform quality inspections and in-process material checks-Use basic PLC controls to cut material as specified on orders-Start and stop machines as needed-Perform routine machine maintenance-Record production data accurately-Create labels and package materials per order requirements-Inspect materials visually to ensure quality standards-Follow safety rules and read related documentation-Communicate effectively and participate in team activities-Adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environmentJob RequirementsQualifications & Skills:-Knowledge of machines, tools, repair, and maintenance procedures-Understanding of materials, production processes, and quality control-Strong communication skills, including active listening and verbal interaction-Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment-Good visual acuity for inspection tasks-Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production documentsApply today to join our team!
