The General Accounting Manager
is accountable for supervising essential financial functions, including treasury operations, tax compliance and reporting, cash flow management, payroll accounting, accrual processes, fixed assets, leases and intercompany transactions. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with both internal and external policies. Lead and develop direct reports and manage the workflow of additional GL resources, fostering a high performing team environment. Manage daily cash operations, banking relationships, and cash forecasting. Ensure appropriate controls are in place for cash disbursements and funding activities. Coordinate tax filings, including income tax, sales/use tax, and other local statutory requirements. Liaise with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Support tax planning initiatives and audits. Oversee payroll accounting, ensuring accurate payroll entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Manage monthly accrual processes, including bonus, vacation, and other compensation-related items. Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany transactions in compliance with transfer pricing policies. Reconcile intercompany balances and support global settlement processes. Provide oversight of Fixed Assets, Leases, and expansion projects in accordance to US GAAP, IFRS, and company policy. Lead general ledger activities and ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with IFRS and company policy. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Collaborate cross-functionally during the close process to ensure completeness and accuracy. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across all accounting functions. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX, company policies, and audit requirements The Revenue Recognition Manager
is a crucial and technical role within the Accounting & Finance team, focusing on primarily revenue recognition and leadership within the group. The role is instrumental in driving change and facilitating complex contract negotiations, and in shaping the companys financial strategy. The Manager collaborates extensively across the organization, engaging with commercial teams, project management, and supply chain to ensure alignment with strategic direction. Lead and develop direct reports and manage the workflow of additional revenue resources, fostering a high-performing team environment Work closely with Controllership, Project Management, Comm Ops, Legal, and other business leaders to optimize processes and support strategic financial decisions Key contributor to the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing all revenue streams for the site and Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate reporting Utilize ASC 606 revenue recognition standards to manage and report revenue accounting Oversee reconciliations and workflow processes for deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, contract assets, bad debt reserves, and accounts receivable reserves, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance Act as the primary point of contact for financial auditors (external & internal), providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries to ensure a smooth audit process Identify and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study required CPA, CMA, or MBA Four (4) years of relevant experience required Experience within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial modeling Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills Seniority level
