About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:
Customer Sales & Profit
Supporting the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to global guidelines.
Representing yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
Identifying commercial opportunities within your department and collaborating with your Department Manager to act on them.
Providing excellent customer service and actively promoting products and our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and sustainability initiatives.
Managing fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
Handling administrative routines for people and operations correctly.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Staying updated with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
Ensuring your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
Team & Development
Sharing knowledge and skills with the store team.
Collaborating with the Visual Merchandiser team.
Giving and receiving feedback regularly to support development.
Communicating effectively to motivate and inform colleagues.
Following all procedures, routines, and legal requirements.
Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
Ensuring high-quality visual presentation and garment care.
Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation.
Overseeing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines as per standards.
Utilizing in-store technology and services effectively.
Maintaining consistent price signage according to guidelines.
Keeping BOH areas updated and secure.
Responsible for opening and closing the store daily.

Additional Information
Compensation: $18.29-$21.58 hourly. EEOC Code: SLS. Pay Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly.
