Aircraft Mechanic II (Avionics/Electrician) F-15 Maintenance Support Location: Seymour Johnson AFB Goldsboro, NC Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required Schedule: Day Shift | MonFri | 07001600 About the Role We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic IIs (Avionics/Electricians) to provide Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot (OID) level maintenance support for F-15 aircraft at Seymour Johnson AFB. This position supports the 4th Fighter Wing / 4th Maintenance Group, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure aircraft return to fully mission-capable status. This role will focus heavily on Depot-level maintenance and aircraft painting operations, while also supporting O&I level inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Candidates will apply their expertise across electrical, avionics, structural, and general aircraft systems while ensuring compliance with USAF standards and technical orders. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled F-15 maintenance, including HPO/Phase inspections. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft electrical, avionics, and mechanical systems. Conduct Depot-level maintenance and modifications IAW T.O. 00-25-107. Perform aircraft corrosion control and painting operations (touch-ups to full repaints). Support aircraft maintenance documentation (logs, records, forms, electronic systems). Operate and inspect support equipment (SE) and aircraft maintenance equipment (AME). Maintain tool control, hazardous materials accountability, and safety compliance. Fabricate, repair, and troubleshoot wire harnesses and perform electrical connector work. Provide guidance to Mechanic Is and other team members on complex maintenance tasks. Qualifications Required: Active Secret Clearance (mandatory). High school diploma or equivalent; completion of related military or technical training required. Minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience as an avionics/electrician. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with F-15 aircraft. Proficiency in: Electrical/avionics troubleshooting and system isolation. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings. Performing operational checks and aircraft modifications. Using specialized military aviation electrical tools and test equipment. Ability to perform wire harness fabrication, braiding, and electrical terminating device work. Desired: Knowledge of airframe, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Experience with corrosion control and structural repairs.bfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
