Walgreens Boots Alliance, a leading drugstore chain, is seeking a Beauty and Wellness Consultant for a full-time position in Holden, MA. The role involves maximizing sales and brand awareness through exceptional customer care, providing beauty and wellness advice, and maintaining department standards. Job Objectives: Maximizes sales and brand awareness by providing exceptional customer care. Demonstrates passion for beauty and wellness and provides inspirational knowledge. Provides solutions for beauty and wellness needs, including mini-makeovers and skincare consultations. Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience. Oversees and maintains overall beauty department standards. Job Responsibilities/Tasks: Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance. Models and shares customer care best practices. Leads and delivers in-store events to promote brand awareness. Builds relationships with customers. Engages with omni-channel solutions to enhance customer experience. Locates products in other stores or online. Achieves sales goals by assisting customers. Reviews beauty business performance. Focuses on link-selling and up-selling. Uses testers and sampling to demonstrate product application. Ensures testers are stocked and maintained. Implements company asset protection procedures. Processes sales for customers and employee purchases. Participates in meetings and conference calls. Has knowledge of store systems and equipment. Ensures compliance with state and local laws. Complies with company policies and maintains respectful relationships. Completes special assignments as assigned. Training & Personal Development: Seeks self-development and monitors own performance. Maintains awareness of beauty and wellness trends. Attends meetings, seminars, and training sessions. Maintains professional appearance and image. Models and shares behavior with other consultants. Works collaboratively with store leadership. External Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of retail sales experience OR at least one year of experience selling beauty or cosmetic products. Experience in developing ways to accomplish goals with little or no supervision. Knowledge of products and brands to engage and meet customer needs. Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team. Basic level PC/tablet skills. Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications: Licensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with various levels of the organization, business community, and vendors. Experience demonstrating makeup application and providing makeovers to customers. Experience selling Prestige brands. Degree from Beauty School.
