Each Assistant Vice President provides vital team functions:
Serve as a point of communication with the Production Team, including providing coverage and program design advice and expertise Provide brokers with knowledge about markets and products as they relate to classes of business Assist Broker in client and underwriter meetings as requested Assist Broker in leadership of the Production Team serving as a first line of defense in administrative matters as well as production/servicing needs Develop problem solving strategies for helping retail agents with their coverage needs Prepare and submit proposals to carriers for complex or hard-to-place accounts Negotiate with carriers for the best program for clients Successfully manage a profitable book of new and renewal business Oversee preparation of draft proposals Oversee preparation and finalization of Carrier and Client coverage confirmations Maintain strong relationships with key carriers in the Strategic Market Assist in the training of Associate Brokers and Marketing Brokers We are looking for people with:
7+ years of insurance experience Comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance Developed understanding of risk selection and coverage Knowledge of principles and methods involved in selling services including marketing strategies and tactics and sales techniques Strong leadership skills Travel when necessary Snapshot of what Amwins provides to our valued team members:
Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience Annual bonus potential Broad benefits package available

Pursuant to Massachusetts regulation, the compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
