Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 13 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Information Technology team! Responsible for design, support, maintenance, and evaluation of network and systems environment, the Network Systems Administrator installs, configures, and troubleshoots both physical and virtual infrastructure devices. They are responsible for maintaining infrastructure functionally, performance, and other related duties as assigned.

*Compensation is based on each candidate's experience, skills and education within the range identified for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role will start at entry in the range. Any additional skills, experience and education will be reflected in the compensation offered.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Supports and maintains configurations for Erie's network devices that include wireless, VOIP, and WAN. Develops and maintains documentation of network devices and functions, including switches, WCS, gateways, routers, Active Directory, applications, email environment, and network file systems. Documents and publishes the standards developed. Develops and maintains backup/disaster recovery procedures. Ensures that the Erie policies and procedures are correctly implemented in the backup process. Responsible for the company's backup and disaster recovery testing and verification. Responsible for the design, building, configuration and maintenance of Erie's physical and virtual server environment. Serves as a main point of contact for any IT emergency. Responds to outage notifications sent by data and phone line carrier. Maintains log during any outage situation to evaluate effectiveness of current procedures. Escalation point for network or desk side related issue resolution. Helps solve issues and proactively devises ways to eliminate recurrence. Qualifications
Education
Required:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field. Preferred:
Comptia Network+, CCNA, CCNP, or VCP certifications. Experience:
Required:
At least 5 years of experience in systems or network administration. Preferred:
Healthcare IT experience preferred Skills and Knowledge
Required:
VMWare Microsoft 365 Active Directory Switching, routing, firewall, and wireless Infrastructure security (MDR, Vulnerability Scanner, SecureScore, etc.) Experience with escalated requests from service desk Comptia Network + or CCNA Comptia A+ Preferred:
