As a Security Officer - Commercial Building - Full Time in Mebane, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to inquiries and assisting tenants, visitors, and staff as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, employees, and/or tenants with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the client representative. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the commercial real estate environment. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
