Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Front-End Developer
to join their Marketing Technology team. In this role, you'll take ownership of developing and maintaining WordPress websites, building new pages from design files, and enhancing existing sites. Beyond website work, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to forward-looking initiatives, such as Marketing Technology integrations and future platform enhancements. While you don't need to bring deep expertise in every area on day one, the ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to flex between front-end website development and broader MarTech projects. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins Develop greenfield pages based on Figma design files Modify and enhance existing website pages and components Write clean, maintainable, and efficient JavaScript code Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and performant Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other team members Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across browsers and devices Contribute to Marketing Technology-owned integration projects (such as API connections between marketing tools), working with guidance from other engineers as needed. Requirements
Proven experience with
WordPress front-end development , including themes and plugins Strong proficiency in
JavaScript , HTML5, and CSS3 Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect web pages Experience working within existing websites and modifying their structure or content Understanding of responsive and cross-browser development practices Familiarity with version control tools like Git Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies (including AI-assisted development tools). Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO best practices Knowledge of PHP (for WordPress-specific tasks) Experience with modern headless CMS frameworks (e.g., Contentful, Sanity) or front-end stacks (e.g., Next.js). Exposure to Marketing Technology platforms (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, attribution tools) or API-driven integrations.
