Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering the finest in lodging, grooming, training, and daycare for dogs and cats. Our busy Grooming Salon is now hiring Permanent Part-Time Dog Bathers to join our team in our Morristown facility.
No prior professional experience is required-but a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is essential! The starting rate is $15.50/hour, with additional pay considerations for candidates with prior pet care or grooming experience.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in dog grooming. Eligible employees may qualify for Tuition Assistance toward earning a professional dog grooming certification.
What You'll Be Doing
Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs using professional tools and products Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and brushing teeth Monitoring dogs for safety throughout the grooming process Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment Collaborating with team members to ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners Gathering information from pet owners and updating pet records Morris Animal Inn is proud to offer

Must be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes; from the teacup type to the 'are you sure that's not a horse?' and everything in between. Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care Team-oriented mindset with strong time management skills Ability to read and write in English (for documentation, communication, and safety procedures) Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Weekend and holiday availability is required
