KPFF Coeur d'Alene Transportation Team focuses on designing infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across the region. We work on a wide range of transportation projects and major infrastructure efforts throughout the Idaho and Pacific Northwest. Our team supports projects from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, and construction. We collaborate closely with public agencies (local, state and federal), transit and port authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that improve mobility, restore natural systems, and strengthen the built environment. We are seeking a Roadway/Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience designing civil engineering projects in Coeur d'Alene. This position will provide the opportunity for you to design a diverse array of projects in a team environment and: Collaborate with multidiscipline teams while developing project management capabilities Work on stimulating and challenging multi-disciplinary projects, from planning through design and construction Engage with clients Grow our practice in Idaho! Minimum Qualifications: 2 years' experience with civil engineering projects (site development and/or transportation) Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification of Professional Engineering (PE) Registration in ID. Experience working with or for the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD.) Working proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D, Bonus Points for MicroStation and OpenRoads (InRoads, GEOPAK) Excellent written and verbal communication Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Passionate about providing exceptional client service. Physical Demands: Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table. Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs. Occasionally visiting project and construction sites may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain. Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying. Compensation: The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate is $78,000 - $90,000 annually. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
