Warehouse Associate I (PGCS) Job Description PBNA $22.30/hour Responsibilities: Basic warehouse performer charged with truck unloading and loading, inventory replenishment and order picking Operate material handling equipment, R/F gun, warehouse systems Execute M&W tasks Accountabilities and Key Measures: Meet annual AOP and KPI guidelines Maintain WA-I productivity and quality targets Unload truck, put away product Blind receiver completed and forwarded to Shipping Clerk BOL verified Product put away according to warehouse plan Pick order Concentrate--utilize SAP R/F gun to pick order according to FEFO, complete pallets, complete truck Load truck if directed Execute M&W tasks Detailed knowledge of M&W measures and procedures Follow guidelines to ensure clean, orderly, visualized workplace Ensure timely and accurate reporting of measure data to Team Lead Perform operator maintenance on non-highway equipment Conduct pre-trip forklift inspection, note and report discrepancies Operate equipment safely store and recharge according to DC procedure Material handling, warehouse best practices Eight to ten hour shift includes repetitive heavy lifting and machine operation Support continuous clean operations and good warehousing practices Compliance with all HSE rules and procedures Accident frequency and severity measure: Report incidents and near misses to management promptly Prompt return to work Meet annual AOP and KPI guidelines Maintain productivity and quality targets Drive a safe culture and wear PPE as required in the performance of your job Completed 8 H&S training hours Completed and submit near miss / good catches Compliance with all Manufacturing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies Follow GMP, Food Safety Programs and Prerequisites Read and understand applicable procedures that are listed in SOPs Understand AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions & meet audit compliance requirements Skills & Type of Experience Required: Computer familiarity a plus Two plus (2+) years warehousing experience High School Diploma or GED Proficiency with forklift and warehousing systems Experience with inventory control procedures Able to understand and follow instructions, procedures and chain of command to report issues and seek resolution Ability to follow directions and operate independently Must possess High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to work overtime and have flexibility with work schedule General Comments: Entry level performer Understand and follow all regulatory and company policy / training Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards Follow all applicable facility health, safety, and environmental requirements (e.g. PPE policy) and procedures for reporting incidents and/or injuries per the PepsiCo Employee Handbook Authority to immediately act upon or correct safety risks Assist in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, GEHSMS programs and procedures through active participation in the near miss/good catch program Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws, including but not limited to, San Francisco Police Code Sections 4901-4919, commonly referred to as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance; and Chapter XVII, Article 9 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
