Event Marketing Logistics Manager
in our Communications Department in
Boone, North Carolina
, at our International Headquarters. The Event Marketing Logistics Manager will be responsible for the oversight of internal and external events on behalf of the Communications Department, and for the coordination of event branding, logistics, and marketing across multiple departments to ensure our efforts to raise awareness and meet goals and expectations set by organizational leadership, such as generating new names and revenue. Other management responsibilities include supervision of support staff during event set-up and tear-down.

In the role of
Events Marketing Logistics Manager
, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Manage various internal and external event marketing processes across multiple departments of Samaritan's Purse on behalf of the Communications Department, including event evaluation, creation of innovative marketing strategies for external events, and evaluating event audience response. Oversee event logistics, including coordinating attendees, preparing exhibits, and shipping event materials Manages relationships with ministry departments, including the Presidents Office, Quality Assurance, Special Events, North American Ministries, International Projects, and Donor Ministries, to ensure consistency in branding and messaging for all events Work with the director of Communications and the creative director to determine effective branding and marketing strategies for internal and external events Manage event day logistics across ministry and vendor contacts for events that are targeted to Samaritans Purses external audiences Manage vendor relationships for external events to ensure successful on-site execution Supervise collaborative process with creative and production teams to develop display, print, and digital materials for the events, as well as oversee support staff during event set up and tear-down Travel to new concepts and key events to monitor audience engagement and strategize for increased engagement at future events; provide supervision during event day. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree (BA) in Hospitality or Marketing preferred from a four-year college or university, and at least five (5) years of experience in event marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education Strong communication skills and the ability to present event ideas and plans Ability to work independently and with internal and external teams Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete complex jobs under deadline pressure Project Management experience is a plus 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, the opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
