Event Medical Logistics Specialist
responsible for maintaining and tracking equipment and supplies for field crews and events. This logistics specialist will ensure equipment is ready for action, with the goal of reducing downtime and improving the quality and delivery of our services to medical crews and patients at events. You will coordinate and manage the movement, storage, stocking and distribution of equipment. This role ensures that supply operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about medical operations, supply management and the unique space of special event logistics. CrowdRx is eager to train the right person for this position. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of items. Maintain accurate inventory records using logistics software. Organize storage areas and manage inventory levels. Stock, inventory and maintain various equipment such as response bags, medical devices and specialty items such as cots, communications equipment, tents, vehicles and trailers. Track resources assigned to fixed venues and temporary events. Ability to manage and plan for multiple event resource requests at once. Schedule routine service for durable equipment. Inform supervisor of breakdowns, damages or out of service equipment. Respond to daily phone and email inquiries from other departments requesting equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age; some experience in the industry preferred (medical or events) High School Diploma or equivalent Must have medical experience (NYS EMT Certificate or above preferred) Valid CPR Card required Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheets (preferred) Ability to work under time constraints Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Valid State Drivers License Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, extended workdays when needed Ability to lift more than 75 lbs. with assistance
