PMG Vegetation is hiring hardworking individuals who enjoy physical and outdoor work and are comfortable navigating various types of terrain. This seasonal position runs from 09/02/25 to 12/1/25, and is ideal for those with farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor experience.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, ensuring that client vegetation requirements are met efficiently. If you're looking for a physically active job during the fall season while making a tangible impact on land restoration, this is the role for you. What You'll Do: Walk through large properties and apply herbicides using a backpack spray system to control noxious weeds. Work in various terrains, including rocky, steep, and uneven landscapes. Mix and load herbicides in proper amounts for accurate application. Work independently and in a small crew to meet daily production goals. Follow work orders and instructions to ensure vegetation is managed properly. Keep simple but accurate records of herbicide applications. Occasionally travel to job sites outside the immediate area as needed. What You Need to Apply: Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license. Previous physical labor experience is required. Experience in farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred. Physically able to carry a 50 lb. backpack sprayer for extended periods. Able to work in the heat, cold, and other tough weather conditions. Able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and move around as needed to complete tasks. Able to work long shifts on your feet and maintain a steady work pace. What We Offer: Starting pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour DOE. Bi-weekly pay schedule. License and certification reimbursements.
